Advocacy – member inspired event – Child Poverty Report Card – zoom meeting

Child Poverty Report Card: Free Presentation

The BC Council for Families invites you to join a free online presentation and discussion, with our provincial partners HELP and First Call, on April 18th about the newly released 2023 BC Child Poverty Report Card.

The last few years have seen historic policies and investments in support of children and families at the federal and provincial levels. While these are encouraging changes, child poverty rates are rising again as are concerns about the well-being of children and youth.

Join the Human Early Learning Partnership’s Dr. Martin Guhn, Dr. Kate Buium, and First Call Child and Youth Advocacy Society’s Adrienne Montani for Poverty, Childhood Experiences & Well-Being in BC.

Date: April 18th
Time: 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. PST
Location: Online via Zoom
Cost: Free!
