Oceanside CAT September 19, 1 pm to 3 pm, Hear about the Victoria Women’s Treatment Centre and Aug 31 Outcomes

Featured speaker will be Philip Mach, Manager, Withdrawal and Recovery Services at Coastal Sage Healing House for Substance Use, a residential treatment centre for women in Victoria, run by Island Health. It will be similar to the Treatment Centre proposed for Parksville. Philip will be speaking to us and answering questions on:
Ø How Coastal Sage works – intake process, who runs the program, next steps after treatment
Ø Calming community concerns and disinformation
We will also hear about the success of our International Overdose Awareness Day Events and the Summary of the table discussions, and a report back from our team that attended the Recovery Capital Conference in New Westminster.
